Let's Go Behind The Scenes

Hey y'all!

I just got back from a few days away shooting in the Austrian Alps for a German lingerie magazine.

Here is what happened...

A view from the castle where we were staying in the mountains of Austria. This small building is a chapel where there was wedding taking place all happening at the same time as out lingerie photo shoot. Awkward timing.

Anna, the lovely make up artist from Germany and the gorgeous model Barbarra Tous from Barcelona
In the hair and make up room AKA the bathroom at a ridiculous hour in the morning
This was our changing area, on the second floor full of vintage shoes, hats, jewellery. My favourite place to chill and post to Instagram, Twitter and Facebook
This was the first shot of the day, just having a quick breather before the next change.
On set with the rest of the crew. The stylist, Sybille wears the purple hat. The two guys at the back holding the rug is the client on the right and the photographers assistant is on the right. They have more than one job as you can see from the picture.
I look like a scared cat in this picture.
A Hisptamatic print from one of the shots. This was my favourite shot as I got to sit down and wear thick socks!

Vintage D&G shoes were gorgeous, and so was this 4 poster bed. If I can just lay down my head for a second...
Just chilling with my metal beer jug and my trilby... obviously.

Some of the props that were used. They wanted to make it like we were hunters... I have never used a gun before. i clearly thought I was really cool in this picture, however, the gun was actually a lot heavier than I thought and I was incredibly uncomfortable holding it... best not to play with guns.
I wore my Nike Air Force Ones for the entire trip. Warm and comfortable with added style.

After the shoot ended, I travelled 4 hours in a mini bus back to Munich airport and took a 2 hour plane ride and 20 minute train journey back to my home, jumped into my bed and fell fast asleep.

THE END

To Tie Or Dye

Dress Topshop, leather jacket vintage, hat Nike, sunglasses Asos

I bought this tie dye dress a few months back from Topshop so they no longer have this one in store, but you can get these versions here. They are funky.

Worn with my boyfriends vintage leather, heavy on my shoulders, and my Margiela white high tops. These shoes are great with so many outfits.

I added a splash of Mac 'About Town' pink lipstick to soften it up and add a fresh, bright tone to the overall look.

How do you wear your tie dye?

Thanks.

Zest Up Your Wardrobe; Orange is back

It is pretty amazing what wearing a colour can do to your moood. I have had that sluggish Sunday feeling for most of the morning but I forced myself to snap out of it and do a sunday blog post for my lovely readers.

I bought this orange vintage dress from my top vintage shop in town.  Those of you who have seen my 'How to shop at my favourite vintage shop' video would know where to find it.

I am guessing the dress is from the 1960's, possibly the 1970's and it has a gorgeous tie around the back. It has made an appearance in my 'Getting dressed in vintage' home made video.

My Nike Lunareclipse trainers have a cushioned and raised instep,  making walking around town extremely easy and they have an orange sole!  A match made in heaven.
This season's trend is warm and vibrant and adds some well needed brightness to your winter wardrobe.

Here are some selections to choose from Asos to get you started.

TIP: You can always start off with an orange lipstick or nail polish for just a hint of colour

What do you think of this trend?

Pleas leave me a comment, I always read them!
See you tomorrow...

Swings 'n Tings

Good Monday everyone!!

How are we?

I'm feeling quite content today because my weekend was exactly what I wanted it to be;  Friday night socialising, Saturday morning coffee and papers in bed and looking at my favourite blogs on Bloglovin,  Sunday shooting photo's outside in the sunshine and Sunday evening 'Homeland' and 'Crickley house'.

I also have the new series of 'Peep Show' saved on record tonight....I can hardly contain my excitement!

Finally I got to use the swings for a blog post!  I was thankful the sun was out and there weren't any cues..!
I thought the Trapstar jumper and shirt together make the outfit quite preppie; now you get the swings idea?
Trapstar is a local brand, up on Portobello Road and everyone around here wears it. It's worth taking a look at the collection online, it's all pretty cool and Rihanna and Cara Delevigne are big fans too.
The denim skirt is from Sienna Miller's Twenty8twelve and the round collared shirt, Hobbs.
You can see my Nike trainers up close in my previous post.
The floral jeans are J Brand.

Please leave a comment, I love reading them.

Please follow me on TWITTER

And 'like' my Facebook page beauty's

See you tomorrow!
