Christmas Gift Idea Number 3; Faux Fur Coats

 Topshop £75
So rock 'n roll, I love the shape and the colours of this faux fur. I can wear this with my jeans or over my shoulders with a simple black dress and biker boots. Warm too.
 H&M 50% off £50
Great value, its now in the sale. H&M always has very reasonable versions of the latest trends. Such a safe bet having a look in there before you spend a lot of money on something similar in another store. I prefer to wear this in a size smaller than I normally would.
 Karen Millen 20% off £350
I walked past this dalmatian print in the window and I had come back to try it on. Imagine it with a pair of black jeans and a white t shirt and black biker boots or stilettos. You can also rock it up with a black fedora hat.
 Warehouse £20 off £95
I like the cream colour and the 'ruffled' fur. Very warm and so cute.

FAUX FUR COATS!! They are back and at a discounted price in most high street shops.

Make sure you pick up one of these for a Christmas present. I know I would LOVE one. Especially the cream colour.....that is my favourite. They are prefect for the freezing temperature we are moving into now.

See my other post with more cool jackets you MUST HAVE.

Good luck shopping!!

Happy Saturday!

Christmas Gift Idea Number 1: Logo tops

 Topshop 'Owww' logo t shirt
£18
Review
Pro's: Slightly looser than the 'Geek' t shirt, which feels more comfortable for me. Love the pink wording against the blue. Nice rolled up sleeves
 Topshop 'Geek' logo t- shirt

Review
Pro's: Love the blue and white together, and like the placement and font of the lettering. The rolled up short sleeves add a nice touch and make it very cute.
 Urban Outfitters
£45
Review
Pro's: Simple and stylish logo. Has the 90's vibe, very edgy and 'street'. It's my favourite colour, black. I can wear this with anything, so a good investment.
H&M logo vest top
£9.99
Review
Pro's : Simple use of colour and print. I like the white and black together, and it's hangs nice and loose. Is perfect to wear with jeans and a pair of biker boots. Very me. Such a good price it doesn't matter if I only wear it a few times and never again!

I have been living in slight denial about the time left until Christmas. I hadn't seem it come around until wham! It hit me smack, bang in the face today. There's fake snow on Bond St?! Christmas lights everywhere I turn, in every shop window and not to mention the faux fern trees and little santa's giving me the stare.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining, I love the build up to Christmas! I never get to celebrate as much as this...ever! And it's not even my birthday! Jesus Christ! Yes, it's him! He's responsible for us staying out late in the week and waking up with a headache and feeling ok about it because, "Everyones doing it....What's the 'ish? "

To make things easy for you I have come up with a series of ideas for presents and will be uploading them daily, so be sure to follow by email or go to Bloglovin and follow 'thelondonmodelcitizen' there!

I hope you enjoyed the first in my series of "Christmas Gifts Ideas". Logo tops; ideal for any of your friends, your girlfriend, your sister, your cousin, teacher...? They are fun and adorable and really quite cool. They wont break the bank either!

What are you filling up your stockings with this

Christmas?

Thanks for reading.

Please 'like' if you like and leave me a comment, I

love to read them.

See you tomorrow for more Christmas ideas!

Don't Throw away Your Old Purchases before You Read This!

It's so frustrating spending money on something and only ever wearing it once. That's why I was so thrilled to be rocking these snake skin trousers once again!

I bought them from H&M a few seasons ago and I now feel it's their time to really shine.
I don't mind wearing old trends again because I try to wear them differently each time and as I haven't worn them for a good few months they feel brand new!

Today I am wearing this season's Margiela for H&M trainers, which I posted about a few days ago,  and instantly
I have revived the snake skin!
I added a black blazer from H&M to smarten up.

TIP: I don't like to add to much colour when wearing bold prints, instead I keep it simple and subtle with a plain white t-shirt. A staple for the wardrobe; they can be worn with absolutely everything.
How do you like to revive your old purchases?

Crisp orange leaves and cashmere goes well with a tartan skirt in the country

Happy Sunday!!

I haven't posted on the weekend as of yet, so this being my first 'weekend post' proves that I am officially hooked on blogging and must be truly dedicated.

I am so thrilled.... already my blog has been well-recieved and with the emails and texts from you asking about the clothes, it makes me smile

Keep 'em coming. You can always leave a comment for me to read and I will get back to you!

Anyway, I won't keep you long with the boring intro. I have uploaded a series of pictures that my boyfriend took this weekend in Sussex at his mum's house. I can't believe I actually managed to persuade him but after taking lots of pictures on my own at home with my tripod I feel I'm ready to up the game slightly and bring in a third person.  I kinda liked shooting it like this. I did want to still direct it all though so we had a few minor complications as you can imagine....

This is what I like to wear when I come down here. I would always say opt for  comfy, warm, textured clothes and it's important not to try too hard. Listen to this, when I first came here I got really carried away and deicded to have a Woodstock themed fashion show rotating outfits throughout the day, from bohemian vintage dresses to heavy furs etc.  I got a few stares ordering my half pint of shandy at the bar.  You could tell I was a London girl trying to fit in with the country style. OMG the cringe factor. Meh! You live and you learn.

So here goes.....

Coat Burberry men's, shirt vintage, jeans vintage, vest America Apparel, socks Brora, wellies Hunter, cashemre hate vintage, cashmere wrist warmers Brora

Hat vintage, scarf vintage, cashmere jumper Brora, skirt Portobello Road market, cashmere socks Brora, wellies Hunter

Thanks for reading!

Now, for the comments!!

Get Your Christmas Dress! Ranking of the high street

With Christmas just over a month away, the shops are filling up fast with all the sparkles, colours and glitz they can muster.

I'm already reading about what to wear, how to wear it and when to wear it at Christmas and it's making me a little bit twitchy.

Like most of us girls we want to get our hands on the best out there and getting it right the first time is essential. With so much to choose from on the high street I thought I should do the honourable thing and source out what's worth it and whats not!

Cut out the average and the just plain rubbish. We haven't got time for any for that. We know that it's a desperate sprint to the finish line, sequins at the ready!

Speaking of a fast sprint, I'm running low in energy reserves because I've been focusing on the  necessary tasks such as party planning and festive blogging (obviously).

Anyway, enough excuses. If you like fashion and LOVE to party here are the top high street Christmas Dresses you need to get your hands on before December 25th! That's 6 weeks from today! Crikey.
